About the Artists: Sally McKay and Von Bark
Sally McKay is a Hamilton-based artist and writer who sometimes also teaches art at McMaster University. In 2014, she completed a Ph.D. in Art History and Visual Culture at York University, exploring connections between art and neuroscience. She has been collaborating with Von Bark on multi-media art installations since 2005.
Von Bark is a Hamilton-based artist, writer and musician. He is a founding member of the ZenExistential Puppet Theatre.
About the Speaker: Dr. Michael Noseworthy
Dr. Michael Noseworthy is a professor of electrical and computer engineering, and Co-Director of the McMaster School of Biomedical Engineering. Dr. Noseworthy’s work focuses on developing comprehensive and diagnostically useful protocols when using medical imaging technologies. His research involves MRI and in vivo nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, as well as the fusion of MRI with EEG, EMG, ultrasound and other imaging methods.
