“Harmony Revealed – A Blend of Sight and Sound”
Headwaters Arts invites artists to register to receive a free 6” X 8” blank canvas to create/complete a masterpiece that expresses/depicts how music inspires you.
Artists are often deeply connected to music. Favourite songs, lyrics, musicians, instruments, scores, compositions of all genres and concert experiences etc. have a prominent place in artists lives, minds and in their creative process. We provide the canvas, and you create/paint and donate your masterpiece! No entry fee.

Where can I pick up my 6”X 8” blank canvas?
When you have registered to participate, you can pick up your blank canvas at Headwaters Arts Gallery, 1402 Queen Street West, Alton Mill Arts Centre, Alton, Ontario.
Pick-up Dates: From: March 17, 2024 until May 11, 2024. Times & Location: Headwaters Arts Gallery/Alton Mill Arts Centre is open Wednesday - Sunday, from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm. Our volunteers/staff will be in the Headwaters Arts Gallery to assist you.

This is not a juried show, works will be selected by the event committee based on criteria that ensures a diverse display of art.

Headwaters Arts presents "Tapestry of Art and Music”, a FREE, musically themed, art show & sale fundraising event on Saturday, May 25th, 2024 from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm at the Alton Mill Arts Centre. The afternoon festivities are all happening in the outdoor arts space, under the tented roof over the Annex featuring a performance by the Achill Choral Society and the unveiling of a Mosaic Tapestry, showcasing a wall of 6” x 8” canvas masterpieces created by Ontario artists, all for sale/purchase at $60 each or 2 for $100. Enjoy some local refreshments and the Society’s inspirational voices/music while you browse and buy! Participate in a FREE raffle to win an original work of art from the Mosaic Tapestry!
