A fresh Alternative Folk/Rock/Soul artist from Hamilton, Ontario, Melissa Dutch emerges onto the Canadian music scene in a wave of emotion, lyrical depth, and vocal power. Melissa’s commitment to truth and healing, skillful storytelling, and soulful voice have been compared to artists such as Sarah McLachlan, Adele, Alanis Morisette, and Florence Welch.

Her music is an anthem for the outcast and a beacon for the weird and wonderful. A queer neuro-divergent queen of an artist, Melissa leads an all queer, quirky, and incredibly skilled backing band including Kirsty McCafferty on keys, Diana Herrera on drums, and Ethan Rooney on Bass, this is a group set to make waves on the Hamilton music scene this year.

Melissa is an active and powerful artist from sound to sentiment, having performed at Under the Blue Moon at the Art Gallery of Hamilton and soon to be performing spoken word poetry as a finalist in Hamilton You Poets' Grand Slam Finale.
