Artist Statement
Driven by curiosity and the profound inspiration of nature, my artistic practice thrives on the dynamic interplay of mixed materials. My process, deeply rooted in my graphic design background, is an ongoing journey of exploration and experimentation. Works emerge from the creative tension between spontaneous improvisation and deliberate intention. I am passionate about sustainable practices, utilizing a diverse range of reclaimed materials to craft compelling narratives that explore the interplay of space, light, and form. I find beauty in the mundane, humour in the absurd, and untapped potential in the discarded. Each brushstroke, each stitch, weaves together my thoughts, feelings, and observations, resulting in unique artworks that challenge conventional notions of sustainability. My work, often interactive and playful, aims to spark joy, evoke cherished memories, and ultimately, uplift the spirit.
