I'm a 27 year old singer/songwriter/performer -born and raised in east-central Hamilton. I began playing piano at age six and learned guitar shortly after, formed my first band in grade eight (although I had to teach my bandmates their instruments, we only managed to perform one single song). Throughout secondary school I played in multiple bands singing as a front man, playing keys and saxophone. At 18 I left home and moved to Ireland, being an unprepared youth I eventually resorted to busking in the streets of Dublin hoping to make enough money to stay in a hostel, and eat. The experience led me to consider music as a career and I enrolled into and graduated from Centennial's Music Industry Arts and Performance program where I deepened my love of the Soul and RnB music my ensemble and I performed. Hamilton has a rich proud history in punk rock music and I've certainly been a patron and appreciator of it, but I'd like to be a part of furthering the landscape of our music scene to see more diversity in genre and perspective.
