Based in Dundas, Ontario, Corine began drawing and painting in mid-career after taking courses at the Dundas Valley School of Art (DVSA). Having previously obtained degrees from the University of Guelph and Western University, she has, at different times, worked in finance and education. More recently Corine balances her role as artist with that of project manager and parent.

My drawings and paintings are often studies in observation. I focus on analyzing the value, colour, and form of my subjects, while exploring aspects of scale, and composition. Currently, I’m experimenting with translating my sketches into unique works upon return to the studio. Time, memory, experience, and other influences take a more active role in transforming my observations into new ideas. While this technique has been around for a long time, I'm intrigued by the changes that my reaction produces, in subsequent work.
