Aro Majigs is the handle of local Hamilton born and raised musician/music producer, Lara Souter.
She believes in the power of the artist to transform the bleak and meaningless into truth and beauty. Through her music she has mutated many dark and difficult times into light and ease.
Her current work involves interpreting the Old Testament of the Bible into synth metal music.
Her end goal is to help destroy old structures by breaking the rules of traditional music making (i.e., You must play an instrument. Drawing notes isn’t real music. Music must be performable) and help make way for greater mental and musical freedom.
