Born on Long Island, New York Alexander moved to Hamilton ON, Canada in 2005.
He is a carpenter by trade who discovered his ability to paint in April of 2020 during the first lockdown of Covid-19.
Alexanders body of work represents an untrained individual’s attempt to teach himself color, form, depth and emotion. Alexander is completely self-taught using multiple avenues of learning. He defines his success as a willingness to learn from each painting and consistent time at his easel.
His current works are an attempt to master the human form and capture the light and energy of the individual.
