An eclectic group of six mid-pubescents (all played by adults) vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives, the tweens spell their way through a series of (potentially made-up) words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life un-affirming "ding" of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter; one speller leaves! At least the losers get a juice box.

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is suggested for audience members 9+. (PG13). The run time is approximately 1 hour 45 minutes including intermission. Snacks will be sold at the concession before the show and during intermission. Tickets are all general admission, seating is first come first serve, doors will open 20 minutes prior to the show starting, no refunds will be issued.
