HWDSB Programs of the Arts at Glendale musical theatre classes are proud to present NEWSIES. Our public evening shows are: May 24, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31. The show starts at 7pm with doors open at 6:30pm. Limited tickets will be available at the door and your can use our QR code on the poster to order online. Based on the real-life Newsboy Strike of 1899, this new Disney musical tells the story of Jack Kelly, a rebellious newsboy who dreams of a life as an artist away from the big city. After publishing giant Joseph Pulitzer raises newspaper prices at the newsboys' expense, Kelly and his fellow newsies take action.
