The Senior Manager of Events and Creative Programs is responsible for leading the Arts and Culture division, overseeing key areas such as public art, cultural programs, festivals, and events. This role plays a critical part in advancing the City’s strategic arts and culture priorities, ensuring alignment with the goals of the Recreation, Community and Culture Department and the broader community services division.

In this position, the Senior Manager will supervise a team dedicated to delivering the City’s Public Art Program, as well as managing the coordination and facilitation of festivals and events, alongside cultural programs in music, theatre, and other art forms. Additionally, the role involves acting as the primary liaison with culture boards, including the Art Gallery of Burlington, Museums of Burlington, Burlington Performing Arts Centre, Burlington Public Library, and Tourism Burlington, ensuring that the City’s vision is aligned with their goals.
