About Imagine In The Park
Imagine in the Park Festival is a free children's arts festival held annually in Gage Park on the first Friday & Saturday in June (June 6-7, 2024). Our festival features hands-on workshops hosted by professional local artists & authors in various forms of the arts such as: dance, music, storytelling, poetry, drawing, performance arts, and much more.
Friday we have an Imagination Concert with 1-2 performers on the Bandshell in the evening, and Saturday is the main event were we aim for 21 artists & authors hosting hands-on workshops, as well as activities by other local arts organizations like Telling Tales, Hamilton Public Library + The Bookmobile, and The Art Gallery of Burlington. There will also be mulitple performances on the Bandshell throughout the day! NEW this year we will be offering a Story Telling Stage to the authors hosting workshops, where they can take some time to read from their book and have families interact with the story more intimately, away from a hectic workshop tent!
All activities are FREE! and every child receives a new book!
