A graduate of the Alberta College of Art & Design, Susan Ross has exhibited in many juried shows, commercial and public art galleries.

Awards include the Sun Times People's Choice Award at Tom Thomson Memorial Art Gallery in Owen Sound, Ontario, second place at the 2012 Juried VAM Show at the Art Gallery of Mississauga and third place at the 2016 Juried VAM Show.

Her work has evolved over the years to her current explorations in colourful impressionistic landscapes.

“I am inspired by the shapes and patterns found in nature, the reflections in water, colour and light. I use the natural abstraction in nature for inspiration and then add to it, enhance it.  It is my impression of the landscape.

Susan continues to paint and resides in Ancaster, Ontario.
