Natalie Hyde is the author of more than one hundred fiction and non-fiction books for kids. She loves learning new and fascinating facts about the world through her non-fiction writing, and talking to imaginary people in her fiction writing. When not wrapped up in research or plot twists, she loves delving into genealogy as the family's Keeper of the Bones. So far she has uncovered a murderess, a ghost, and a daring sea captain. She is still looking for a pirate. Natalie lives in rural Flamborough with her family, a service-dog flunky, and a flock of Rhode Island Red chickens called "The Ladies".
