Jana Greenstone is a producer and DJ residing in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. She places significant focus on techno and DnB, while also working within the realms of jungle, breakbeat hardcore, and 2-step UKG. Her sets capture the diverse sounds of the electronic landscape, spanning from dark and hypnotic with gritty industrial undertones, to groovy and full of bounce with the colouring of lush trance elements. Jana’s productions demonstrate a dedication to exploring different styles and sounds, and have been released on labels such as Lazuli Records (including the Lazuli Black and Lazuli Red sublabels), The Acid Mind Recordings, Crisis of Man, Black Square Recordings, Ekstasis, and Omen Recordings.

In 2023, along with Pachelle, Jana co-founded ‘Common Ground’, a musical project, an event series and a mix series in Toronto and Hamilton. Common Ground focuses on curating lineups of exceptionally talented DJs and producers, as well as uniting lovers of the harder dance music genres (notably DnB, jungle, breaks, and techno) in safe, welcoming, and intimate spaces. Common Ground is off to a strong start with several successful events in Toronto and Hamilton in the books, with the most recent event having taken place in January 2025 at Collective Arts Toronto in collaboration with the world’s longest standing DnB radio show, ‘The Prophecy’. Jana and Pachelle are working on launching Common Ground Records in 2025, for which the debut EP will be a two track piece from Jana Greenstone entitled 'Steel City Funk'.

Aside from the music, Jana integrates her photography work and design skills into her projects to cultivate complimentary visuals for releases and events. She is inspired by the beautiful landscapes and cityscapes both in Canada and beyond and allows that to shine through in her creative works.
