Located at 126 James Street South in Hamilton, Ontario, the Hamilton Conservatory for the Arts is a distinguished arts institution offering over 100 arts programs, catering to students of all ages with a diverse selection of programming including music, dance, visual arts, and acting.

Within the historic walls of HCA, you will find 18 music rooms, a creative visual arts studio, three spacious dance studios, an inspiring acting studio with an intimate stage, a versatile Black Box Theatre space, and an art gallery. HCA is also the home to two charitable arms, Arts For All and HCA Dance + Theatre. We take pride in the excellence of our programming, the professional credentials of our instructors, and the variety of classes offered within each discipline.

At HCA, our commitment to quality education is reflected in our diverse offerings. Students can choose from dance classes in ballet, jazz, modern dance, hip hop, and creative movement. Music enthusiasts can opt for private piano, strings, woodwind, guitar, and vocal music lessons. Additionally, we provide group music classes for our youngest musicians, including Yamaha keyboarding. Our acting and musical theatre programs empower students to hone their creative skills in singing, acting, and dancing. Our visual arts classes foster creative self-expression for children and teens.

Prospective students are invited to experience the excellence of HCA through a complimentary group class or a free 15-minute private music assessment, helping them discover the perfect fit in terms of classes or instructors. Our registration process is designed to accommodate various budgets, offering flexible payment options. Whether you prefer to visit us in person, call us, or send an email, our friendly administrative staff is ready to assist you on your artistic journey.
