Gary Curran (he/him) is an interdisciplinary artist based in Hamilton, Ontario. His pyrography designs (also known as woodburning) feature landscapes reminiscent of the Canadian shield, more often drawing inspiration from his hikes along the Bruce Trail, Quebec and the Yukon. You may have previously seen his works displayed on t-shirts, in restaurants in your neighborhood or at Tourism Hamilton. Gary has worked as a ski lift operator, traveling encyclopedia salesman and is currently a brick manufacturer. Always the foodie, when he isn’t at work or burning new pieces, he prides himself in exploring eateries in and around the Hammer.
