I am a digital and multimedia artist whose work delves into the complexities of Black womanhood within Western social, cultural, and political frameworks. Through a thoughtful fusion of visual art and critical theory, I examine themes of intersectional oppression, resistance, cultural production, and appropriation. My art critiques and challenges popular and traditional narratives surrounding beauty, mental health, social well-being, and community engagement as they relate to Black women and youth. By blending digital techniques with tactile, multimedia elements, I create immersive experiences that encourage viewers to confront and reconsider entrenched stereotypes. My work is a celebration of resilience and a call for deeper understanding and empathy.

In my professional life, I serve as a Graduation Coach for Black students, a Youth Settlement Worker with the YMCA, and the founder of Enuwa, an organization supporting newcomer mothers and families. These roles align with my artistic endeavors, all driven by the goal of creating community, uplifting Black voices and identities, and making art and social resources more accessible to Black women and youth. Together, my art and professional work aim to foster spaces of empowerment, visibility, and connection.
