Mason M is a multi-disciplined performer, born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario. A graduate from the Randolph College of Performing Arts (2015), Mason has had the honour of dancing with the ‘National Ballet of Canada’, entertaining with ‘Warner Bro’s Studio’s’ and performing at local and regional theaters from Niagara to Uxbridge.

Mason is the creator of the international best-selling book ‘The Stage Light Flickers’ and he is one of two co-founders and co-artistic directors of Hamilton’s Emerson Arts with his best friend and partner Emily Bolyea.

Mason has written and produced multiple plays under the banner of Emerson Arts. He has written a lot of unproduced work from movies to comics, children’s books, tv shows and more. Mason has what seems to be, a limitless supply of ideas and stories to share.

Choreographing for local companies, Hamilton Theatre Inc and Theater Ancaster, as well a few smaller companies in Toronto, and vocal directing for small groups and Brock University, Mason has a deep love for teaching, sharing his knowledge and learning from everyone he can.

He is currently working on a new vocal technique that will teach those who are hard of hearing and deaf to sing, while developing shows and creating paid work opportunities for artists.

Mason M’s Artist Statement is a simple one. He aims to create paid work opportunities and sustainability for artists as well as an inclusive and affordable live entertainment option for all members of the Hamilton and GTA communities.

Masons creative vision is clear and direct, create relatable stories for all, reflect our diverse society, and always keep entertainment at the forefront of creation.  Mason operates with the core belief that you can learn something from everyone.
