Katie is a queer, multi-disciplinary artist and settler in the traditional territories of the Erie, Neutral, Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee and Mississaugas, so-called Hamilton, ON. She strives to use her artistic capabilities and intentionality to transform the sites and spaces she occupies as a white settler to develop ways of sharing and connecting that are creative and expansive.
Her work primarily focuses on collective vulnerability and community building through intimate and often collaborative story-telling. She has produced projects ranging in discipline using dance, zine making, writing, film, music and public space exhibits to showcase these stories.
