My story begins in Poland, where I grew up and completed my education in Commercial Art and Advertising before setting my roots in Canada, almost 40 years ago. Upon my immigration to Canada, I continued to expand my studies, taking numerous additional art courses at the Dundas Valley School of Art, Art Gallery of Hamilton and Mohawk College.
My education led me to become a Graphic Designer, but my creative mind was always wandering, allowing me to explore many other faces of art - watercolour and acrylic painting, drawing, pyrography, creative window painting, and mural creation.
In 2021 I published "My Walks of Art" book, that includes 130 of my paintings of Dundas homes and buildings, history, anecdotes, 6 walking routes with maps! It received The Art of Heritage Award (2022).
Book is available at my studio at 95 Head Street, online (SunnyStreet.Studio or artofdesign.ca), Dundas Museum and Archives on Park Street and many stores in Dundas.
Currently, I live and create in my home studio in Dundas, Ontario. This beautiful town has also been a major source of inspiration for me. I have an ever-growing watercolour collection (over 350) of historical buildings and homes from the area, and now I have a book.
