Samuel de Lange (he/him) is an artist based in Hamilton, Ontario. He received his MFA from the Glasgow School of Art in 2019, and has participated in residencies and exhibitions in Canada, Europe and the UK. His work brings together combinations of photographic material, moving image, cast objects and furniture making as site-sensitive responses to space and context. His most recent research has looked to gestures of preservation and how they might reflect conflicting forces of care and control.
