Casa Studio is a small-batch ceramics studio based in Hamilton, Ontario, led by the creative partnership of painter Jasmine Cardenas and potter Colin Mummery. All pieces are designed, crafted, and fired in their home studio, where their practice is grounded in experimentation and a deep exploration of the materiality of clay. Whether tinting clays, creating organic forms, or producing large-scale wall installations, their work is defined by a tactile approach to collaging with clay and a commitment to blending art with functionality.

Cardenas, Casa Studio founder, is a Canadian-Ecuadorian multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans sculptural painting, collage, ceramics and installation. She holds a BFA from OCAD University (2017 and has created commissioned work for several hospitality and retail industries including The Drake Hotel, Kimpton Saint George, Arto Life Wtr, and The Gardiner Museum. Her works are held in permanent collections including Global Affairs Canada, City of Mississauga, TD Bank, Scotiabank, and the Royal Bank of Canada.
