Roll Up Your Sleeves is back for a second year! After last year’s wildly successful outing, we’re excited to invite folks back to the Custom House on Saturday, April 13 for a night of art, music and fun. It’s a night to celebrate the favoured fabric of the working class, so don’t forget your Canadian Tuxedo!
The evening’s festivities will include snacks and beverages from beloved local businesses, raffle prizes, printmaking, opportunities to connect with our friends Environment Hamilton and music courtesy of Nicolette and the Nobodies. We just might be launching our brand-new, revamped membership program too…so stay tuned!
Roll Up Your Sleeves will be the last opportunity for you to catch WAHC's current exhibitions including Declaration in the Main Gallery and In Our Hands in our Second Floor Community Gallery. Guests are encouraged to explore our brand new virtual exhibition of labour union banners, All Together Now!, launched in January with support from Canadian Heritage.
Tickets for this one-of-a-kind event are $40 per person and all proceeds benefit WAHC and our important work preserving and celebrating working people’s art, culture, and history. Each ticket includes a complimentary drink, raffle ticket, and bandana that you’ll be able to decorate yourself with block prints with the help of local artist, Cornelia Peckart.
Thank you so very much to our sponsors Unifor 5555, McMahon Molyneaux Henriquez Labour & Employment Lawyers, Cavalluzzo LLP, Jewitt McLuckie LLP for making this event possible!

Please remember this will be a masked event and we ask that all attendees remain masked when not eating or drinking in our Main Gallery. We’ll be sure to have masks on hand in case you forget yours at home. The backyard at Custom House will be open weather permitting allowing folks to mingle without concern.
