Paper Sculpture

Andrew Ooi creates sculptural reliefs entirely out of paper. Hundreds of sheets are assembled to produce a single work through a complex process of cutting, creasing, painting, and folding. Each artwork can take weeks or months to complete, producing something which is sculpturally dimensional out of an otherwise flat material.
