Hamilton is a diverse geographic and cultural region. What are the benefits and challenges to using it as a ‘real-life’ setting in a work of fiction? How do you cope with the changes in a living setting, and what obligations do you feel to getting it right? Also, how do you resolve local colour with a broader audience? Hamilton authors who have used this setting discuss its ins and outs.

Panellists: Stephen B. Pearl, Elizabeth Hirst, more to come.

Free online event. Part of Hamilton Book Crawl, regularly held on the third Friday of the month from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Concession Streat, Hamilton Ontario, and online to the world.
