Join Hamilton-based artist, Roger Ferreira, for an all ages 3-week workshop series, exploring the themes of who we are, where we come from, and what bonds us together.
Through print-making, drawing/painting, collaging, and calligraphy, participants will use the techniques learned to create cards that can be exchanged with each other and shared with friends and family. Invite a family member to join you on this journey, and make it a multi-generational arts experience.

About the Artist:
Roger Ferreira (b. 1961) and his family arrived in Hamilton in the late 1980s. Roger quickly established himself in the arts community, taking on public mural projects, and working with children and youth to share his skills and artistic vision. He founded a downtown artist co-op and regularly worked with other artists to support exhibition practices in Hamilton. Having taught at Columbia College and in the Catholic school system for over 15 years, he has also built a substantive career as an art teacher in Hamilton.
