Expand your creativity in our Soap Sculpture Workshop, The Suds of Dreams. Join us at Rooney's Cafe for a unique artistic experience led by local sculptor Breanna Shanahan. The soap shavings used in this workshop are made from Hamilton's own small business ALTR soaps. This material boasts a distinctive blend of cedar, rosemary, and charcoal infusion, enhancing your sensory experience. In this hands-on workshop, you'll transform soap shavings into sculptural outputs. Shanahan, who teaches Sculpture at Brock University and Sheridan College will introduce you to new tools, concepts and approaches in the realm of three dimensional form making. No previous experience is required and first-time or seasoned sculptors are welcome.
Your workshop fee includes a hot beverage and a delectable snack from Rooney's Cafe, all materials needed to create sculptures in soap and a small soap bar courtesy of ALTR Soaps.
