Each month, the Staircase Studio Theatre presents a night of stories for your ears, performed live on stage. Pieces will range from old-time radio-style stories to improvised comedy to storytelling with evocative sound design.
Each performance will be recorded for release as an upcoming podcast series.
In October things get scary, with Hannahpocalypse – a fourth wall breaking serial comedy/horror audio drama podcast that follows the last zombie, Hannah; who’s ‘living’ her best life over 100 years after the zombie apocalypse has come and gone.
Plus “Mimi-nashi Hōichi” – a classic ghost story from Japan, told by podcaster Eli Hamada McIlveen (creator of Alba Salix and sound designer on Unwell and Civilized).
Friday, October 21st – 8pm
The Staircase – 27 Dundurn St. N., Hamilton
