A fun-filled evening of tap dancing and jamming at Defining Movement Dance on Saturday, January 13th!
Whether you're a seasoned tapper or just starting out, this in-person event in Hamilton, ON, Canada is perfect for all levels. The talented Mike Glenney will guide dancers through a short true beginner class, and then an int/advanced class. Dust off the shoes, try it out for the first time, learn some new skills or freshen up on your tap technique.
After the classes, a jazz trio with musicians Olivia Brown, Ian Brown and a drummer (TBA soon) will be playing a couple of sets of live jazz music on the floor at DMD.
This is a social event and all are encouraged to join, whether you're a tapper, enjoy watching tap, or a fan of live jazz music. Tappers are encouraged to improvise and jam along with the band.
