Welcome spring back into your life with this inclusive, supportive and self-reflective poetry workshop. No experience necessary.
After two years of a pandemic, let's write our way back to life through self-reflective poetry! Like a flower bulb or tree seed that's been germinating underground, do you feel ready to grow? Self-reflective writing practice is a gentle way to encourage personal growth. Together we will read and reflect on poems, write our own, and only share our work if we want to. This is an inclusive, safe space where no prior writing experience is necessary. Like we always say at Innings Gate Co., it's not about writing well, but using writing for wellbeing.
This special event is part of a series of reflexive writing workshops facilitated by professional writer Carolyn Grisold, M.A. Carolyn is a graduate of The Humber School for Writers and holds a B.A. in English Literature and a Master's of Arts degree focused on Reflexive Writing. She is currently furthering her expertise in the field, studying towards a Master of Science in Creative Writing for Therapeutic Purposes in Bristol, U.K. Carolyn resides in Hamilton, Ontario, and calls England her second home.
