Listen to live music each Friday at Noon at Central Library. A celebration of the legacy of the Hamilton-born blues master.
Hear the music and stories of Hamilton's Jackie Washington as performed by legendary local bluesman Harrison Kennedy in Central Library's Hamilton Room. The Stewart Memorial Church Choir under the direction of Michael Highgate will also take the stage to celebrate the occasion. Jackie was Canada's first black disc jockey and a multi-award winning performer in the blues and jazz worlds.
