The Carnegie is pleased to present this selection of oil paintings by Dundas-based Artist Member, Raffaele Antonio Caterini. Rooted in the tradition of figurative representation, his work demonstrates an ongoing interest in still life and the narrative form, firmly placing the viewer in the role of the conscious observer. These new paintings on linen, canvas and wood are derived from the artist’s immediate surroundings, past experiences, and recollections.
