Smokestack Gallery is pleased to present Untitled Portals, a solo-exhibition of works by Hamilton based artist, Laura Kay Keeling. Through a process-centered approach integrating use of analog photography, video, installation and digital collage, Keeling dedicates her investigative practice to the ways in which humans form connections with the natural world. Particularly interested in exploring the socio-environmental relationships of her immediate surroundings, the most recently created prints featured in this exhibition incorporate elements from the natural environment and Keeling’s extensive archive of ephemera that directly reference the local region around Hamilton where she now lives and works.
