En ce mois de septembre 2022, le Conseil consultatif de la Communauté francophone accueillante de Hamilton (CFA) est fier d’inaugurer La ligne bleue, un parcours touristique pour découvrir la ville de Hamilton sous toutes ses facettes avec un angle novateur : les contributions des différentes communautés immigrantes à son épanouissement. Nous sommes heureux d’annoncer que l’inauguration aura lieu dans le cadre des événements de célébration de la journée des Franco-Ontarien.ne.s cette année, afin de renforcer l’importance de cette date pour toutes les personnes qui ont la langue française à cœur.
Nous avons à cœur de vous inviter à cet événement incontournable pour la communauté francophone de Hamilton afin de vous présenter en primeur les points d’intérêt du parcours et de répondre aux éventuelles questions concernant le projet. En tant que francophone, votre présence contribuera à valoriser l’apport de la communauté francophone de Hamilton à la vie culturelle, historique et sociale de notre ville. Ce sera une occasion d’échanger avec d’autres acteurs du milieu francophone local, des résidents de longue date et des nouveaux arrivants. Nous vous remercions par avance pour votre implication et nous comptons sur votre présence.

15 h 30 – 16 h : Retrouvaille au parc Bayfront, 200 Harbourfront
16h - 18h : Performance artistique. Pique-nique et activité de réseautage pour la communauté

This September 2022, the Advisory Council of the Welcoming Francophone Community of Hamilton (CFA Hamilton) is proud to launch La Ligne Bleue, a bilingual touristic urban trail to discover the City of Hamilton with an innovative angle: the contribution of the various immigrant communities to the development and growth of Hamilton’s downtown neighbourhood. We are pleased to announce that the launch will take place as part of this year's Franco-Ontarian Day celebration events, to reinforce the importance of this date for all those who treasure the French language.
We are pleased to invite all French-speakers and lovers of the French language to this important event for Hamilton's Francophone community. During the launch, you will be able preview the selected points along the pathway and we will answer any questions you may have about the project. It will be an opportunity to network with other local Francophone stakeholders, long-time residents and newcomers.
La ligne bleue is one of the highlighted projects of the Placemaking grant from the City of Hamilton, as well as CFA Hamilton, one of 14 CFAs funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) as part of the Action Plan for Official Languages 2018-2023 : Investing in Our Future.

4:00 - 6:00 PM: Artistic performances. Potluck and networking event
