The Carnegie Gallery is honoured to present a memorial exhibition of work by this Hamilton artist who was a master of the portrait tradition and an accomplished sculptor.
Miecznikowski’s wide range of work is distinguished by its consummate skill, sensitivity, and expressive vision. His public sculpture includes monuments to Frederick Banting and John Galt, as well as portrait busts of such notable Canadians as Gerhard Herzberg, David Suzuki, and Margaret Atwood.
