Earls Court Gallery graciously announces CITY LIGHT AND THE DARK exhibit featuring new artworks by Hamilton artist Clarence Porter and Toronto artist Carol Loeb.
“City Light and The Dark” showcases two artists who depict the changing patterns of light and its effect on city structures. The pastels by Clarence Porter capture the volume of night and the weight darkness can have when trying to subdue illuminations by various light sources. In contrast, Carol Loeb’s paintings embrace the brightest parts of the day to heighten the minute details found on complex architectural buildings. Bring together these artist’s observations, the viewer will be able to be immersed in all light’s effects found in a city.
“City Light and The Dark” exhibition can be viewed in person at 215 Ottawa Street North, Hamilton, ON. Earls Court Gallery is open Tuesday – Friday 10 am to 5 pm and Saturday 10 am to 4 pm. The artworks will be featured in the main gallery. All artworks will be featured online as well as a virtual tour.
