This exhibition features two concurrent bodies of work produced over the last three years by established Hamilton artist, Marla Panko. Visually rooted in geometric formalism, the work relies heavily upon the structured use of colour and composition. However, the integration of appropriated images and found materials further suggests an underlying narrative that explores themes of impermanence, memory, and shared culture. Panko is a longtime Artist Member and has been the Curator of the Carnegie Gallery since 2015.
