The Carnegie is pleased to present new large-scale sculptural work by these two ceramic artists. Vuletin, already well-known for her exquisitely crafted, botanic functional ware, explores strikingly different territory with her articulated surface detail. Pratt creates ambiguous organic forms that simultaneously suggest wildlife, plant forms, or micro- organisms. Both artists showcase their shared fascination with texture, the innovative use of glazes and colour, and the exploratory nature of intuitive-based creativity.
