Singing is elemental to human culture, and a seemingly simple means to create joy and relieve stress; it can also an incredibly daunting activity to do in public.
The Eye of Faith is a multidisciplinary brand founded by Aaron Duarte and Paul Heaton based out of Hamilton, Ontario. Since its inception on 11/11/11, the duo have explored the worlds of vintage clothing, fashion design, art, photography, theatre, and a string of highly popular karaoke events for this city. What began as a joyful hobby quickly turned into a regular “Karaoke Cabaret” at the Baltimore House as well as regular appearances at The Casbah.
In honour of Michele Pearson Clarke’s Quantum Choir, an art installation that explores the complex power of public singing, the Eye of Faith will host and evening of Karaoke at the gallery, specifically geared to make it easy for the reticent or first-time singer. If you’ve always wanted to but never tried, this might be the perfect event for you.
