The 38th Annual Arts Dundas Weekend, running from October 31st - November 3rd, will bring together local arts organizations in celebration of fine craft, ceramics, theatre, storytelling music, visual art, and poetry.
There are several exciting events scheduled for the weekend, including:
The Hamilton Potter’s Guild Annual Fall Sale and Empty Bowls Fundraiser supporting Hamilton Food Share.
Annual ART WALK collaboration between the Tower Poetry Society and Carnegie Gallery artists.
Handmade ballet costumes from The Hamilton Academy of Performing Arts at the Dundas Museum
A brief history of Bannock on Turtle Island with Jim Adams along with the opportunity to try pan fried Pan-nock
The Dundas Valley Orchestra will perform a selection of music in the lower level at the Carnegie Gallery.
Carnegie Gallery Exhibitions – Convergence by Iris McDermott (mixed media, painting and collage) and The Authentic Self by Joon Hee Kim (ceramic sculpture)
Observe a silversmithing jewellery demonstration by Clare Pearson
An aerial hoop performance by a member of the Hamilton Aerial Group at Shawn & Ed Brewing Co.
