We accept short, mid-length and feature length as well as screenplays.

We aim to earn the "Hamilton" in our title and always have a spotlight on local independent movies.

The Hamilton Film Festival has NO LATE FEES. Many film festivals have a tiered system, making it more expensive to submit as you get closer to the deadline. Since 2020, we have eliminated late fees and will continue to do so.

We are a Top 100 rated festival out of 12,000 events listed on Film Freeway and are also a Canadian Screen Award qualifying film festival.
