<div dir="auto">Monotype is a painterly printing process where artists' hand paint their plates to produce unique and spontaneous one-off prints. In this workshop participants will be introduced to different methods and applications they can use to approach making these experimental prints. This workshop is an easy introduction to printmaking for people interested in print but intimidated by the technical steps sometimes involved in traditional printing processes.</div>

<strong>ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR</strong></div>

<div dir="auto">Ron Siu is an artist and graduate from OCAD University. Working primarily in painting and printmaking approaches, Siu’s work has been in exhibitions across Canada and internationally in Germany and the UK. He has also participated in several print residencies including at Centre3 and Atelier Circulate in Montreal.</div>
