My name is Mike Przysiezny, my artist name is Studio Mike.

I am an award-winning author (Oakville Arts Council, Literary Arts Award, 2011, Hamilton Scene Award, steelcitymusic.ca, 2006). I have diplomas in Journalism:Print (Sheridan College, 2001) and Audio Engineering (Metalworks Institute, 2007).

I've been a performing artist for 42 years. My first performance was in 1982, at a piano recital and my most recent performance was at Levity Comedy (Stand Up Comedy) in April of 2024.

I've been a professional audio engineer and music producer since 2007, specializing in the genres of: folk, hip-hop, sludge metal and stoner rock. I also write/record audio books and radio plays.

I've been nominated for multi-media awards for my videos but haven't won any awards, yet. Dare to dream.

As an artist I enjoy working alone but also enjoy collaboration, often I need a second opinion, because it's so easy to lose perspective while in the midst of a project.

My goal is to integrate myself into the art scene in Hamilton. I have lived here since 2018 and work full-time for the Hamilton Burlington SPCA.
