MER is a hip-hop artist born and raised in Hamilton,ON.

He spent 15+ years playing drums, guitar, writing music
and learning to produce.

Drawing influence from artists like J.Cole, Mac Miller , and
Anderson Paak,

MER creates music channeling his passion for drumming,
production, and poetry to create a sonic message all of his
own.

ARTISTIC STATEMENT

I create music with the intent of creating a positive mindset for the listener.

I believe music has healing abilities, and what we say/how we talk to ourselves is very important.

Mental health is at the forefront of my music, and I always speak on the importance of persevering and believing in a prosperous future for yourself.

Or even learning to appreciate what is in our lives currently instead of constantly wanting for more.

Enjoying small moments and wins and understanding that every loss is a lesson and there's beauty in any moment.

I just want to create a space where people can feel understood and hopeful when things are overwhelming, and to find power through any struggles life presents them with.
