David Hudson has been performing, creating and appreciating contemporary dance for over twenty years, he is the artistic director of The David Hudson Dance Company creating original work through dance & movement, and works for Hamilton Arts Council as a coordinator for programming and community engagement.
Originally from the UK, David’s formal dance training was conducted at The Laban Centre, London (aka Trinity Laban). David has enjoyed a diverse career as a performer and choreographer, and has extensive experience in delivering dance education at the professional institution level.
David has been a permanent resident of Canada since 2018, he is a volunteer and advocate for people recovering from mental health and addiction challenges, and proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, living in downtown Hamilton, Ontario with his husband.
