Partnership, community collaboration, co-creation and just having fun and being creative in the pursuit of safe, accessible, and engaging public spaces is very exciting to us. Collectively our approach to using arts-based research for public engagement and feedback focuses on a principles-based approach where honesty, respect, equality, fairness, and courage are our guides. We work to provide supportive time and space for diverse, equity-seeking people to feel empowered to engage in the decision- making processes so that the many - not just the few - can contribute and have their voice heard. Together, we create through lived experiences following the 5R’s - Respect, Relevance, Responsibility, Reciprocity, and Relationality.

As a team, we have had the opportunity to create and work with many amazing partners on several arts-based community development projects and community building initiatives. As listeners, relationship builders, and advocates for equality, diversity and inclusion with a deep understanding in the power of a connected caring community, BluHeron Interactive operates as cross-disciplinary thinkers and multi-disciplinary doers, and we are excited to meet new project partners, collaborators, and friends.
